The Welsh Government has tabled it’s response to the Public Accounts Committee’s inquiry into the regulatory oversight of housing associations in Wales. We welcome the response to the Committee’s recommendations, in particular a commitment to data transparency and empowering tenants to progress tenant scrutiny.
We look forward to working with the Welsh Government, TPAS, and other partners to ensure equality and diversity are embedded into the new data and scrutiny approaches. We believe that both developments will contribute to improved sector performance on equality and diversity and, ultimately, better and fairer outcomes for diverse groups of tenants.
