We’re delighted to welcome you back to the DNW Café (formerly DNW Coffee Mornings) – a safe, supportive and confidential space created specifically for Black, Asian and ethnic minority colleagues across the housing sector.
About the DNW Café
The DNW Café is an informal gathering designed to bring people together for honest conversation, shared learning, and mutual support. Whether you’re new to Deeds Not Words or have been connected since the beginning, this is a space where your experiences matter.
We meet three times a year – future dates are listed below. This one will be online but the next two will be in person at a venue TBD.
We’ll begin with a round‑robin check‑in to see how everyone is doing, followed by a guided but open discussion exploring:
- What challenges are we currently facing?
- What positive experiences can we celebrate?
- Has Deeds Not Words had an impact? If not, why?
- What can be improved?
- How can the Panel better support you?
Our aim is to create a warm, inclusive environment where attendees can openly share — and feel heard.
Confidentiality
This café is a confidential, closed space.
Nothing shared by participants will be recorded, reported, or attributed to individuals. We want you to feel safe, respected and able to speak freely.
Who Can Attend?
This session is open to Black, Asian and ethnic minority professionals working anywhere in the housing sector.
Please feel free to pass this invitation on to anyone who may benefit from attending.
