Asmut is the Older Persons Accommodation Manager for Cardiff Council.
With over 30 years of experience in the Social Housing Sector, Asmut has held various roles within the Local Authority. She currently oversees all older persons’ accommodation and chairs the Council’s Ethnically Diverse Employee Network and was also a member of the Councils Race Equality Taskforce. Asmut brings extensive expertise in working with a diverse range of customers, and delivering tailored services to under-represented groups in Cardiff. She is deeply passionate about equality and dedicated to ensuring that every person has a home that suits their needs. In her spare time, she volunteers at her local mosque and is learning Arabic.
