Stress is a common part of working life, but prolonged or unmanaged stress can have a significant impact on physical health, mental wellbeing and performance. While people are naturally resilient, many receive little support or space to understand how stress affects them or how resilience can be strengthened in healthy ways.
This session supports participants to explore what stress is, how it shows up, and why people respond to it differently. Participants consider how stress can be helpful or harmful depending on context and coping strategies, and how patterns of response can develop over time.
The course introduces practical, evidence‑informed tools that help individuals increase self‑awareness, respond more effectively to pressure, and reduce the risk of burnout. It also highlights the importance of recognising when additional support is needed and where to access help. The session focuses on realistic, manageable approaches that can be applied in everyday working life and adapted to individual circumstances.
Sessions can be tailored to organisational context and delivered as a standalone workshop.
