Senior leaders and Board members play a critical role in setting organisational culture and dismantling systemic barriers. This course supports leaders to embed anti‑racism into strategic priorities and governance practice, moving from awareness to sustained action.
The course builds on learning from the Black Lives Matter movement and is closely aligned with our Deeds Not Words commitment to action. It also supports organisations to meet the requirements of the Anti‑Racist Wales Action Plan.
The session explores racism and anti‑racism within an organisational and sectoral context, recognising that priorities and actions will vary depending on communities, geography, workforce and stakeholders. Participants will deepen their understanding of racism and its impact, and build confidence in holding informed, reflective and sometimes challenging conversations.
Interactive discussions and activities provide space for critical reflection, shared learning and practical consideration of leadership, governance and positive action.
Sessions can be tailored to organisational context and delivered as a standalone workshop.
