About our helpline
Every day, staff across your organisation will make decisions that have an impact on equality and diversity – often without it being immediately obvious. In housing especially, these decisions can affect a wide range of individuals and communities.
It’s not always straightforward to know whether you are applying best practice, or how equality legislation should be interpreted in specific situations. The Tai Pawb Member Helpline exists to support you with exactly these kinds of questions.
Available exclusively to members, the helpline provides free, expert advice on any aspect of equality and diversity in housing. It is accessible to all staff within member organisations, offering a simple and direct way to get guidance when you need it.
You can use the helpline for a wide range of queries, including:
- Understanding equality legislation and best practice
- Applying equality principles to day-to-day service delivery
- Supporting decision-making in complex or sensitive situations
- Clarifying policy or procedural questions
- Exploring potential equality impacts of specific actions or changes
Our team brings together specialist knowledge of equality and the housing sector, enabling us to provide practical, relevant advice that is grounded in real-world practice.
For more complex or in-depth pieces of work, we may recommend further support through our consultancy service.
The helpline is designed to be a quick, accessible first point of contact – helping your staff feel confident, supported and equipped to apply equality and diversity principles in their work.
